If you do many things at the same time, you are not really doing anything. Enjoyment shouldn’t be something you experience while doing other things! Try to concentrate consciously on the moment and switch off other activities and thoughts for that time. When you have a coffee, (just enjoy your coffee), notice the taste, feel the warm cup in your hands and not think about ten other things at the same time.

Find out what feels good for you, when you need those things and moments. Find out what doesn’t feel so good! Everyone likes different things and everyone enjoys in their own way. Time should be set aside for beautiful experiences and the little things in life. Especially in our busy daily routines, preparations should be made. This has the positive effect that you can look forward to the pleasant event ahead. For example, plan one hour per week to do something just for yourself. It’s important to schedule this in your calendar and don’t postpone it for other appointments. It would be helpful to let your family and friends know about this time in advance.
